The reason why we’re up in arms is because people see this and they assume ALL of us do it. Perception is reality, and thus, it gets harder and harder for me to do charity work. I’ve been asked not to show up for a frew local events because of it. Most know I don’t do that, but others don’t care. No one cares to hear that most don’t do it, because they don’t know if you don’t or not. Just how people are still afraid of bikers in leather even though only a few are actually part of gangs.

being a furry isnt a fetish, it’s about liking anthromorphic animals like mickey mouse and bugs bunny. Some wear costumes because they want to dress up and be someone else for a while. only a very small percentage of furrys actually have sex in their costumes and even some other furrys look down on that.

Oh, and I’m a fursuiter, and I’ve never had sex in my suit, nor plan to. I use my suit for charity work mostly; I just so happen to enjoy going clubbing with it from time to time. If it’s so bad, why do I literally get lines of people wanting to dance and clubs giving me free drinks to stay? People enjoy the fantasy and the comedy that fursuiters bring. If you truly have a problem with us, then just keep it to yourself. Every group has bad eggs, and ours just happen to be the new punching bag.
