I simply love wearing heels. I absolutely live in 4 inch stilettos – nothing less is EVER allowed to touch my pampered little peds.(I go to extremes to take care of my delicate little feet, I have a standing appointment for a pedicure and long luxurious foot massage three times a week.) The walk you achieve by wearing heels is sooooo much more refined and sensual than what you can possibly achieve without heels. Heels improve my posture, make me look taller, give my tushie a lift and give me a VERY sexy walk. With each and every tiny step my hips sway seductively. Heels make any outfit look more polished and sophisticated. I feel utterly feminine in my heels – and I truely love all the wonderful attention I receive from men when wearing heels. I simply love the feeling of being precariously perched atop a pair of extremely delicate, utterly expensive designer stilettos. conversations absolutely stop when I stroll into a room atop my stilettos. For me, there is no heel that is too tall of too slender. However, the height of a heel you can walk in is related to your foot size. I have petite feet, I wear a size 4.5 in a flat, size 5 or 5.5 in a stiletto.
I absolutely love wearing extremely feminine, unthinably tall, delicate stiletto heel sandals and mules, difficult to walk in but so incredibly sexy.

Because they suck and hurt your feet. They are ok if you are going somewhere where you don’t have to walk a lot or stand. Otehr than that, they stay in the closet

The comfort level in platforms is fairly low.

I personally prefer to use high heels because as you say, it looks a lot sexier than the flat ones. But perhaps those who don’t like wearing heels aren’t comfortable with it. Besides, long use of heeled shoes can be very painful and could cause arthritis. I know of some women who bring slippers at work so they can make their feet and legs comfortable during breaks.

I always thought that wearing heels was so that naturally small ladies did not look out of place with naturally taller men friends. The question must be if you are small say 5ft tall, then you will have similarly small feet which will restrict the height of heel you can manage to walk in. So this is where platforms come in. However the thicker the platform the easier it is to fall off them. I wonder if anyone has found a balance between height of heel, comfort of shoe and ability to safely walk in them.
I know a 5ft girl who has a 6ft 3inch husband. She wears platform shoes with an 8 inch heel and a four inch platform. The only trouble is that she needs the strong arm of her husband at all times when walking outdoors as the slightest uneveness of the ground makes her wobble violently and risk falling. But she would never give up the heels
